Good overview on Mashable about the Amazon Fire phone. Some say it's a "shopping machine claiming to be a phone", but honestly: how different is this from what we hail as "ecosystems" on other devices, other than adding a whole world of physical products to that ecosystem? I think that the Amazon strategy overall (Fire TV, Fire Tablets) is a risky, bold, great one. And much needed when we see that only iOS and Android as the dominating operating systems might become too powerful for the meaning they will have on the organization not only of our digital activities, but basically our lives.
Very interesting piece on Amazon strategy by The Economist
